Mark Reid, President & CEO, JNAP - With a strong track record in entrepreneurial leadership, and a history of building startups into major industry players, Mark’s background highlights his exceptional marketing skills in tandem with superb operations execution. Mark has developed several key relationships that have helped JNAP to maintain its competitive edge. Mark started in the agricultural industry where he developed and focused on productivity levels and evaluation. He then moved on to processing where he implemented automated systems and technology that would allow for more cost effective processes. On the marketing side, he was instrumental in developing the Japanese market for Jamaican coffee and a few years later it became known as the premium coffee of the world. Mark then ventured into the automotive industry where he focused on the automation of systems and procedures. Soon thereafter he moved into the telecom industry, which he felt was on the verge of explosive growth. He has become an expert in a broad range of telecommunications technologies and has built JNAP into a key player in Jamaican and Caribbean integrated communications markets
Alan Bergin, Chief Operating Officer, JNAP – Alan has over 24 years experience in Telecom operations and management with in depth knowledge of management systems including quality standards to ISO9001, where he was the lead executive in the certification of a major Silicon Valley Telecoms Switch Manufacturer attaining ISO9001 with three manufacturing plants and a global service organization. In 1998, he moved into the Data Centre Hosting and Collocation industry sector as an Senior Manager Support Operations at Telecity/Redbus and later VP of Managed Services at Interxion, two of Europe’s leading Data Centre Companies. In this capacity, he lead a team of top industry engineers in the development of this new market in Europe with the introduction of products that have now become fundamental to the industry. After a year in Trinidad & Tobago as VP Services for Fujitsu Trinidad Ltd, Alan moved to Jamaica as Head of Government Business for Digicel and from there to COO of JNAP, where he became responsible for the successful development of new business and support operations. Alan brings to JNAP an innovative entrepreneurial mindset and ‘can do’ spirit that has been instrumental in driving the company’s growth.
Brian Corty, CTO - Co-founded Wireless Delta Solutions International LLC in 2003. Brian has extensive experience in Technology, marketing, sales, operations, R&D, and the financial management of medium and high-tech businesses. Product knowledge spans Two-way radio, GSM CDMAx1, EVDO, GPRS, 802.11x WLAN, lasers and optronics, telecommunications, energy, industrial products, and computer services. Brian has an overabundance of experience in extending services to locations currently under-serviced or not-serviced at all (to include third-world countries) by Cable and DSL providers. His platform reduces overall costs by as much as 40-50% over other wireless providers to allow profitability in areas that will not be serviced by others because of capital requirements
